This includes:
Personal details such as your name, email address, and profile information, which we use to create and manage your account and communicate with you.
Health and fitness data such as workouts, swim logs, pace, stroke rate, heart rate, and related metrics. We use this to personalize your training plan and track your progress.
Apple Health (HealthKit) data, if you choose to connect it. This allows us to import workout data into Swim Success. Access is optional and controlled by you.
Location data, if enabled in device settings. We use this for open-water swim tracking.
Device and technical data such as IP address, device type, operating system, crash logs, and app usage events. We use this to secure and improve the Services.
Cookies and tracking technologies on our website and apps, which support core functionality, analytics, and (where permitted) marketing.
– Video submissions, such as stroke analysis videos you upload for review. We use these solely to provide personalized feedback and do not share them with third parties without your consent.

We may in future add integrations such as Strava or Garmin. If we do, we will request your consent before accessing or sharing any data, and this Policy will be updated.

3. How we use information

We use your data to:
– Provide and personalize the Services, including training plans and insights.

We do not sell your data.

- Service providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Firebase, which host our Services in the United States. They use industry-standard encryption and may not use your data for their own purposes.
- Analytics and diagnostics providers that help us understand app performance and fix issues.
- Legal authorities, where required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety.
- Business successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or similar transaction, under the same protections described here.

5. International transfers

Because we use AWS and Firebase, your data is stored in the United States. If we transfer data from regions such as the EU or UK, we apply safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses and additional technical protections.

– Health and training data is kept while you use the Services and up to 24 months after inactivity, unless you request earlier deletion.
